Extra Workshops

1- Taek-Wondo

In our Preschool, we have opened-to-the-community workshops, and nowadays, a Taek-Wondo workshop is done for groups from different ages; the first one is for boys and girls between 3 and 4, and the second one, for boys and girls from 5 years old. This is carried out on Tuesdays and Thursdays, in two schedules to be programmed during the afternoon working day.

Schedule: it is carried out on Thursdays, in the afternoon program.

2- Theatre Workshop:

This is an opened-to-the-community workshop, for children between 3 and 5 years old.

Aims: To develop the imagination, the creativity, the oral and corporal expressions and promote the ability of relating with their classmates, in order to train and to promote the child to be friendly and working in team groups; to be interested and to be keen on theatre and culture. In summary, all this will be done through the game and the amusement.

Achievements: Learning to express and communicate feelings through the body, the voice; to be respectful concerning the differences inside each pupil, as a personal source of enrichment; to consider his/her own work and that of his/her classmate; the importance of the expression, as a base of the communication.

Schedule: it is carried out on Thursdays, in the afternoon program.

3- Yoga Workshop:

This is an opened-to-the-community workshop, for children between 3 and 5 years old.

Aims: To teach the adventure of discovering the variety of possibilities to work with the body and mind, through corporal expression and yoga, in order to enlarge the children's horizon to creative and expressive skills; to discover the ability of listening to himself/herself and to other ones and to improve the skills of relaxation, concentration and attention.

Achievements: To improve heavy psychomotor body coordination, to improve the flexibility in joints; to increase the muscular elongation; to generate emotional stability and stillness; to improve mind attention and concentration.

Schedule: it is carried out on Mondays, during the afternoon program.
